Teaser Trailer for Exposure
What went down at Neon Factory's first event, Exposure? Take a look...
Ivana Vodka
ERA on Loop Street was home to the most lavish art party Cape Town's First Thursdays had on offer for 6th October 2016.
Ivana Vodka had all the right poses to keep the onlookers gagging as they gawk.
Here's a little peak at the visual stimulation that Ivan stirs, or shakes, up.

Mx Starr interacted with some visitors, integrated with the partygoers and completely dominated stomping down the street in thigh highs boots.
Here is the visual feast that is Mx Starr.

Neon Factory Presents: Ivana Vodka
Ivana Vodka is something young and fresh to the
night-lights of Cape Town.
“Uh, I love a little Vodka in the morning. Don't you?”
Fishy and utterly audacious for Cape Town’s nightlife
Ivana Vodka is always sassy with a splash of something sensational.
“Have a shot of me, I dare you to, because it ain’t a
party without a lil’ Vodka, darlings”
She has been serving drag extravaganza and generally slaying
the house down for “13months3weeks3daysandAnHour”.
“I am a Cape town based Queen, hostess, super model, entertainter and really just the most down
right glamorous fuckin’ bitch on any goddamn scene. I endeavor to be South
Africa’s Drag crown jewel, while bringing about world peace.”
She truly aspires to show the world what South African
queens have to offer, the depth these artists dive to in order to have their
vision of art realized. So behind the no bullshit tone and piss off eyes is an artist
who strives to be great.
“To reach a level of beauty and opulence that just
might kill me, Hunny. Strong female icons as well as Drag queens who’ve come
from nothing and made it happen inspire me to push through stereotypes, stigmas
and break down binary constraints.”

Neon Factory Presents: Soneda Be
Soneda Be is the stage name of the
capetonian cabaret, MC and visual artists.
Soneda Be had her humble beginnings
back at Bubbles Bar circa 2012. She brought late Sunday nights alive hosting
her own show with sass and class.
Her recipe was simple:
Take an hourglass curved dish, throw
in some grace, sprinkle with fish and squeeze the zest of sharp wit and slick
retort. Mix in a bowl. Set to 180 and keep it real.
Her knowledge of popular culture was
the secret in keeping an audience pecking from the palm of her hand as if they
were hungry birds and she was holding an abundance of seeds.
Soneda Be has headlined MCQP, Beef
Cakes, Crew and even snatched the tiara as first princess in the 2014 Miss Cape
Town Pride. During her ‘fishy realness’ period she collaborated with many local
artists creating visual statements - this was the introduction to her own
aesthetic transformation.
Mid 2014 Soneda transformed her style
to Skag Drag aka. Bearded drag. Her persona embraced her visual movement of
cross-gender equality; similarly she embraced stage productions of burlesque
hosting and performing with a number of tribes expanding her diversity and
reach. Of late Soneda can be found in studios creating visual stories through
makeup and photography.
But what drives this artist the most
is the message in the name, Soneda Be - So need to be yourself!
Kind Regards:
